Our laboratories are located at the biomedicine center of hopital du sacre coeur de monteal, in Montreal. We have a longstanding expertise in dna extraction, genetic testing, molecular analysis and cellular electrophysiology. We perform genetic and molecular diagnostic tests for a multiplicity of familial diseases in cardiology, neurology, dermatology, and many other hereditary diseases. Since 1998, we have performed hundreds of pcr reactions and run more than 10 000 current clamp recordings and performed thousands of various experiments using state of the art techniques such as patch clamp, pcr, laser confocal microscopy and other molecular and cellular techniques. Over the last few years, we have uncovered numerous novel molecular and biophysical Mechanisms underlying the ion channels-related diseases, confirmed or not diagnostics for these Conditions, and re-oriented treatments accordingly.
